Download the new Internet Explorer 8

The new improved version of Internet Explorer is now available. Orange has partnered with Microsoft to offer an update of your current internet browsing experience without waiting for automatic updates.

Internet Explorer 8 includes great new features including enhanced tabbed browsing, safer browsing with embedded security services, improved zoom and accelerators to get to your favourite pages easier.

Orange has also customised the experience to include easy web search and direct access to the Orange portal without interrupting your surfing experience. It will automatically set your home page to Orange.co.uk so you don't have to do it yourself.

This new browser is fully customisable so you can add search engines and your own accelerators to create driving directions, view maps or translate text automatically.

Internet Explorer 8 is compatible with Windows XP and Vista. You will need to download the file (which is 17.9MB in size) and run the file once the download has been completed. It's advisable to check whether your operating system is due for any updates before downloading the file as this may speed up the process.
